Transactions made on our storefront are processed in the currency displayed at checkout. The currency shown is determined automatically based on your geographic location, using your IP address or browser settings.
Supported Currencies:
Currently, KontrolFreek processes transactions in the following currencies:
USD – United States Dollar
CAD – Canadian Dollar
EUR – Euro
GBP – Great British Pound
For example:
If you're shopping from the United States, your order will likely be processed in USD.
If you're located in the United Kingdom, you’ll be charged in GBP.
If you're in most European Union countries, pricing and transactions will be in EUR.
Note: If your location does not match one of these supported regions, the site may default to USD.
What If My Credit or Debit Card Is Issued in Another Currency?
If your card is issued in a currency different from the one shown at checkout (e.g., a Canadian customer checking out in USD, or an Australian customer seeing EUR), your bank or credit card provider will automatically convert the transaction into your local currency.
Possible Fees to Watch For:
Foreign transaction fees – Some card issuers charge an additional percentage (usually 1–3%) for international or cross-currency purchases.
Currency conversion fees – Even without a separate transaction fee, the exchange rate used may include a small markup.
What You Can Do:
Contact your bank or card provider before placing your order to ask:
“Will I be charged a foreign transaction fee for purchases in USD, GBP, or EUR?”
“What exchange rate will be used, and is there a markup?”
Consider using a card with no foreign transaction fees, especially for international purchases.
Before completing your purchase, double-check:
The currency listed at checkout
Any applicable taxes, shipping, or duties
If the currency differs from your card’s currency, plan for possible conversion-related fees
