When finalizing your shipping details, we recommend the following steps to ensure prompt and accurate shipping to you:
1. Double-check address formatting before placing your order
To avoid verification errors, make sure your address is entered in a standard format:
Use official USPS formatting where possible (e.g., “St” instead of “Street”, “Apt” instead of “Apartment”).
Avoid special characters or emojis in the address fields.
Ensure the ZIP/postal code matches the city and state.
If your address exceeds the character limit, try abbreviating street types or moving secondary information (such as building names) to the Address Line 2 field.
2. What to do if the system suggests a modified address
Sometimes our verification software may suggest a slightly different version of your address. This usually happens when the system is matching your entry against official postal databases.
Before accepting the suggestion:
Confirm that the street number, street name, and ZIP code are correct.
If you live in a new development, apartment complex, or recently renamed street, the system may not yet recognize it. In that case, you may need to enter a nearby verified address format recommended by the suggestion.
To ensure prompt and accurate delivery, we suggest a modified shipping address, as you can see in the image below!
3. If you notice an address error after placing your order
Because orders move quickly through our fulfillment process, we are unable to edit shipping addresses after an order is submitted.
If the address needs to be corrected:
Contact the shipping carrier as soon as possible using the links above.
Have your tracking number ready, as the courier may require it to request a delivery change or reroute.
In the event that you entered an incorrect shipping address for your order, KontrolFreek is unable to make changes once the order is placed. To change the end destination, you will need to contact the courier used for your order.
